Mary Ellen's Story
Life
My life story in a nutshell: Born in NJ, moved to MA in the mid 80's. Was married for 20+ yrs. Have two beautiful daughters, both grown up and married. I now have three beautiful grandaughters, as well. I feel very blessed, and love to spend time with them.
Currently teaching in a technical H S. -- Early Childhood Careers. Love the job, most days. It's the best fit of any teaching job I've ever had. Retiring in Jan of 2010! After that will be semi-employed.
My all-consuming hobby is antiques. Love to buy them and sell them. Occasionally stricken with a common antique dealer's ...Expand for more
ailment: "Keeperitis" . Often it's hard to part with the treasures.
My fitness routine is walking and bike riding. I have a cute dog who has never met a person she didn't like. Walking her is another spare-time activity (the spare time I have so much of)
Looking forward to retirement when I hopefully will have time to catch my breath!
All my family is in NJ except my daughters, sons-in-law, and grandchildren, who are in the Boston area.
At this point in time, I feel I have a lot to be thankful for, and hope I will somehow manage to repay society for all the blessings that have come my way.
